50th Wedding Anniversaries

Here are classmates who have celebrated that wonderful milestone.  Please write back and send photos if you know of any others.

Elaine Sabo and Paul Zamenick (both in our class)

Linda Rosenthal and Len Eckhaus (both in our class)

(Note from October 8, 2015:) Attached are two photos - one is our wedding photo, the other is a few months ago on our way to Lisbon. Linda and I are married 53 years. We were both born in the Bronx, two days apart, in separate hospitals. Of the hundreds of babies born every day in New York City, somehow our birth certificates are numbered only six digits apart. We met in Newburgh when we were both twelve years old, and got married when we were nineteen. We grew up together, struggled a lot financially early on, always faced life as a team, and no matter what, we've been happy every single day of our lives.

Bobbie and Mark Moses

Our 3 children hosted a brunch for us. It was an opportunity to celebrate our anniversary and to visit with various branches of our families, and friends. We now spend 8 months in boynton beach, fl, and 4 months in schenectady.    We're looking forward to the 55th reunion.   Bobbie and Mark

Carole and Ed Vradenburg (We are sad to report that Carole has since passed away)

Carla (Focht) and Carl Huber

Nice to see the anniversary photos. Carl and I also celebrated 50 wonderful years together in May.
Cheers, Carla

Sharon Bennett Scofide and Craig Scofide

Sharon Bennett married Craig Scofide May 15th 1965. So for her 50th anniversary he brought her a house in Venice Florida. They are now snow birds. Anyone that way give them a buzz.

Judy Gross Leach and Ron Leach

Enjoyed all the pictures of the 55th reunion. Would love to have been there. Attached are pictures celebrating our 50th anniversary, 6/12/65.

Greg and Cheryl Papa

Cheryl and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary on July 9. Our son and daughter helped us celebrate by hosting a party... ok, so maybe it was an extravaganza with about 125 friends and family. It was really over the top.  We feel truly blessed to have so many friends, such wonderful kids, and the good luck and health to be able to survive and enjoy 50 years of marriage!!!
